Getting Here

Thanks to our accessible public transit and lots of parking, St. Louis is one of the most accessible places to visit and live. The MX is easily accessible from all major St. Louis highways, as well as public transit. Whether you walk, bike or drive the Mercantile Exchange loves being the center of attention and the best place to start your visit. DRIVING

Parking your car in the MX District is convenient and easy, as we have over 2,000 parking spaces in the district:

-We offer valet in partnership with Clayton Valet on Friday & Saturday nights on Washington Avenue between 6th & 7th Street.
-750 spaces in the MX Garage (entrance on 7th between Locust & Washington) with $2.00 voucher available for purchase at MX Movies (with movie ticket purchase) is good for 4 hours. Any time beyond the 4 hours is $1 per hour for a max of $16 per day.
-1,250 spaces in the 6th Street Garage (entrance between 6th between Locust & Washington).

METROLINK and METROBUS

MetroLink, which has been called one of the best mass transit systems in the country, and MetroBus provide easy access to the MX and nearby attractions. The Convention Center MetroLink station and MetroBus stop is at 6th and Washington. On weekdays, trains usually run every ten minutes during peak hours and every 15 minutes or so on weeknights. MetroBus serves the many municipalities in St. Louis County, and with 13 independent bus routes with stops in the MX district, visitors will be sure to access a route that connects them to downtown. BIKING

The Downtown Bicycle Station at 10th and Locust offers over 100 bike racks, and many other racks are located throughout downtown, including along 9th street between Olive and Locust. The Downtown Bicycle Station also offers bike rentals, allowing visits to explore the MX, greater downtown St. Louis, and amazing riverside routes by bike.
24 additional bike racks were also installed at 7th and Lucas to provide additional spaces to store bikes in the MX district.

WALKING

If you’re already downtown chances are the MX is just steps away. Our central location at 7th and Washington puts the district:
-1 minute from the Convention Center
-3 minutes from Edward Jones Dome
-5 minutes from Citygarden
-10 minutes from Busch stadium
-10 minutes from the Arch
-10 minutes from City Museum
-10 minutes from Laclede’s Landing
-10 minutes from Lumiere Casino
